| Cleaning
your Boots and shoes periodically will extend
the lifetime of your Abilene and Sage footwear.
It is recommended that you wipe them off after
every use. Use an old towel, a damp rag, or even
your socks to remove the dust and dirt that may
have accumulated during the day to help prevent
abrasion and cracking.
Allow your boots 24 hours to
dry out before wearing them again. Moisture from
your feet settles into the boot, and without
time to dry, bacteria can stain the leather. A
good practice is to rotate your boots, never
wearing the same pair two days in a row. Never
dry your boots with heat because it will dry out
the leather.
